Today's class will focus on welcoming the students to the 2026-2027 PREP term. We will begin in the circle with a prayer and introductions. Then we will create a list of positive words that describe us (kind, thoughtful, etc). The students will transition to the tables for a craft, in which the children will create a pizza with the toppings being adjectives to describe themselves.

After the craft, we will discuss the Luminous Mysteries and the children will work on coloring sheets of the Mysteries.
These sheets are part of a collection found here that we will use all year.
While they color, I will read passages from the Bible relating to each Mystery.
- The Baptism in the Jordan: Matthew 3:13-17
- The Wedding at Cana: John 2:1-12
- The Proclamation of the Kingdom: Mark 1:15 and Matthew 5:3-12
- The Transfiguration: Matthew 17:1-13
- The Institution of the Eucharist: Mark 14:17-26
When finished/at the end of class, students will return their coloring sheets to their folders. These folders will create their Rosary & Sacrament Book for the year's keepsake. They may take their pizza craft home.
