Hello 2026-2027 Adaptive PREP families!
Registration is open on for the 2026-2027 season of PREP. We have 2 sessions of Adaptive PREP available to meet the needs of our growing program. The program will continue to be a 15-meeting preparatory program geared to the needs of those children who benefit from a less-structured, more hands-on way to grow in faith. While we will be sharing the building with our other PREP programs, our dates will continue to alternate throughout the months. Session times will be:
Mondays from 4:30pm-5:30pm
Mondays from 6:45pm-7:45pm*
*(please note that the regular PREP program runs from 6:30pm-8pm)
I am so excited to work with you and your amazing kiddos this year. If you are new to our Adaptive program, I can’t wait to bring you into our classroom, and if you are returning, then you, too, will have some new and exciting things ahead!
Adaptive PREP is a completely different style of religious education. We base things on the Loyola Adaptive Program “Finding God”, however, because your child grows within our classroom, we do different yearly foci, which all allow for different ages, levels, and sacramental experiences. We average approximately 15 sessions per year and meet once-twice a month in the classroom. During Lent, we have a special Adaptive Confessions with Father Chung as both an option for those children receiving First Penance as well as those visiting the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This year, we will be paying close attention to the Mysteries of the Rosary and the Sacraments, with each class focusing on prayer and deepening our connection to Christ through a sacramental life. Our first class will meet on Monday, September 21, 2026; we will end our classroom meetings at the end of April.
